Osteopathy

Osteopathy deals with the function and structure of the whole body, seeking to find the underlying cause or causes of a patient’s problem. It is suitable for all ages and a wide range of conditions.

Osteopaths use a variety of non-invasive techniques including soft tissue work on muscles, gentle articulation of joints and manipulation.  Treatment is always tailored to the individual and their problem.  In order to assess thoroughly and diagnose a problem, the first consultation includes a detailed case history and physical examination followed by appropriate treatment. Advice on posture, rehabilitation and exercise, including core stability training, is given as appropriate.
